Cartoon Network's "Looney Tunes" reboot

...The network also said Wednesday during its upfront presentation that it is launching a new version of Warner Bros.' classic "Looney Tunes" series starring Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck and unveiled several new series and pilots.

"We're delivering and adding great brands and beloved franchises that represent the breadth and scope of Cartoon Network's ongoing evolution," said Stuart Snyder, president and COO of Turner Broadcasting's Animation, Young Adults and Kids Media division.

...Meanwhile, "The Looney Tunes Show," from Warner Bros. Animation and executive producer Stan Register ("Teen Titans"), takes Bugs and Daffy out of the woods and puts them into the suburbs with "colorful neighbors" including Yosemite Sam, Granny, Tweety and Sylvester,

"Looney" will also have classic characters singing original songs in two-minute music videos called "Merrie Melodies" and the Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote in CG shorts. Spike Brandt and Tony Cervone ("Duck Dodgers") are the supervising producers.
....

  1. Have you watched "children's programming" lately? Can't hold a candle to the old Looney Tunes.

  2. Fortunately not much...I know you've watched your son's "cartoon" and other "children's programming" with him...what I've seen of recent TV I have not liked.

Thankfully I've got a lot of the classics on computer...
