Would cops take a drunk cop home to help a buddy out. Oh yes we would. Do cops do stupid things on booze? Yes, like everyone else. But this goes beyond stupid. Suffice to say he career is over...thank God no one got hurt.
20/20 hindsight, maybe it would have been better if the boyfriend had sat in the back with her to calm her down. At least he could have stopped her from getting her gun from her holster. But the bigger question. Why the hell did she pull her piece? Did she think she was going to make a run for the border or something?
