Cop looses job trying to get girl back

OK guys....like an idiot who got arrested recently for jacking up (for non cops out there, that means taking the money of) crooks who is looking at termination it ain't worth it.  Hey Romeo, think of another approach or get another girlfriend....she ain't worth it.  If I have to point out something, from what I read she ain't Standing by the Man....

Lovelorn cop fired for fake incident
Dispatchers also axed in botched reunion try

A Fort Myers police officer and two dispatchers have been fired after they entered a fake call about a suspicious person - at the officer's request so he could talk to his former girlfriend.

The officer, Jason Moore, told investigators the two had broken off their relationship and he hadn't been able to reach her. He said he felt this was the only way to talk to her.

According to the internal investigation report:...Around 10:20 p.m. Aug. 9, Moore, who was off duty, called dispatcher Joeleen Jeffery and asked her to enter a fake incident at the Edison Mall and instruct another officer - his ex-girlfriend - to respond. Another dispatcher, Michael Grimmett, entered the information, stating a black male wearing jeans and a T-shirt was looking in car windows.

The call went out and four officers responded before Moore's ex-girlfriend arrived. Feeling the situation was getting out of hand, Grimmett called a responding sergeant on his cell phone to avoid being recorded. Grimmett told the sergeant the call was fake and that he believed Moore might be planning to propose to the woman.

Moore's ex-girlfriend arrived shortly after and said she was unaware of Moore's plans. Moore apologized to the sergeant and called the dispatch center the next day to apologize to the dispatchers. Moore, Jeffery and Grimmett were found to have violated department standards and terminated.
