Vote....you may get assaulted

One of my daily pleasures is The Morning Jolt from National Review Online, sent out around 900am by Jim Geraghty.  Well Jim has a message before his normal four points and one point is not out of the realm of possibility:

This is it, everybody.

First of all, before we go any further, have you voted? You haven't? Go. I'll wait.. No, don't tell me you'll do it after work. Your car may break down. You may fall down a flight of stairs. A North Carolina congressman may try to strangle you before you can get to the polls. I'm not saying any of those things will happen, I'm just saying that if you vote now, you don't have to worry about these random mishaps resulting in your vote being left uncast. So go ahead. Run out during your lunch break. Even if you're voting for the other guys. But, er, you're not really going to vote for the other guys, are you?

Jim
Vote!
