Captain's log, Stardate -311409.0496892441, while on routine patrol in Houston Texas, observed a vehicle of legend called a Chevrolet Volt...a four door mini-mini vehicle that had limited range, excessive expense and known to be piloted by people of modest mental means and buffoonish ego's. It's normal habitat was a dealer showroom or a federal government agency parking lot, but one seemed to have escaped.
Conducted complete scan of vehicle before it went out of sight...no intelligent life detected.
