Hilarious political T-Shirts and signs
Check out some of these funny T-shirts and signs we’ve seen during our adventures on the island. Who knew politics could be so darn funny.
There seems to be a bit of a sea change regarding President Obama’s popularity, as judged by the offerings of businesses along Circuit Avenue in Oak Bluffs.
In past years, shops displayed mainly supportive stuff, like t-shirts extolling Obama’s virtues. However, this year a smirking George W. Bush t-shirt is getting laughs from window shoppers. It reads: “Miss Me Yet? How’s that hopey-changey thing working out for ya?”
Also, Sharky’s Cantina, a Mexican joint on Circuit Avenue has discontinued their Barack-O-Taco and Barack-O-Guaco (guacamole) “due to the tough economy,” according to a sign outside the restaurant. The Obamarita still survives on the drinks menu, but it has been joined by a Perry Berry Tea-ni, a martini named for the Texas governor and Republican presidential candidate. Sharky’s is currently holding a (drinking) straw poll to gauge the popularity of the two contenders…
In the feeling gassy department, we finally had to fill up the company car and were stunned at the $4.54 per gallon price for regular on the island. We paid in cash and the wiseguy gas jockey said, “I didn’t think anybody carried that much around.”

Even the beautiful people are tired of B Hussein Obama
You know Obama is unpopular when these are on Martha's Vineyard.
