New York has fallen so far...remember when America's city had a real mayor.

Rudy Giuliani was the greatest NY City mayor in my lifetime. Listen to this man and you see what a real leader is. He is knowledgeable and will not take the lies (I use that term specifically) of the host, Major Garrett. More on that in a second.

This was on CBS's Face the Nation, so almost no one saw it and a rebroadcast like my blog are the way to increase the viewership.Take a few minutes and listen to a real leader face his critics and explain why B Hussein Obama and De Blasio are complete hypocrites in the question of supporting cops. I've often said a man is well judged by the company he keeps. The President and Da Mayor have a mutual dog, the "Revered" Al Sharpton. You lay down with a dog, you get up with fleas.

Rudy Giuliani Thinks Mayor De Blasio And President Obama Need To Ditch Al Sharpton

"You make Al Sharpton a close advisor, you're going to turn the police in America against you..."

Many have spoken out about and criticized Sharpton, and Giuliani agrees with Sheriff David Clarke that he needs to be avoided in order to restore the unity between the citizens and police officers.

“When he loses Al Sharpton, maybe then he can have a better relationship with the New York City Police Department,” Giuliani said of Mayor de Blasio.

Giuliani echoed that remark when speaking about the president, claiming Obama is using Sharpton as the “poster boy for hating police.”

“He has had Al Sharpton to the White House 80, 85 times,” Giuliani said. “Often when he’s talking about police issues, he has Al Sharpton sitting next to him. If he would like to have a poster boy for hating the police, it’s Al Sharpton.”

The former mayor didn’t approve of the officers turning their backs on de Blasio because “it doesn’t matter if you like the mayor or you don’t like the mayor, you have to respect the mayor’s position.” He defended the current mayor by saying that it is also despicable to suggest that he is responsible for the deaths of the two officers.

Giuliani finished the interview, however, by saying that de Blasio should offer an apology to the police force for having created a false impression of them.

Back to my statement calling Garrett a liar. He says during the interview "When you were mayor, you had your beefs with the police, there were times they turned their backs on you....", around 2:30. Giuliani was having nothing of that, stopped Garrett and told him no, never did the cops turn their back on him. And we all know if there was a scene like that, CBS would have had the video ready to show. So yes Garrett, you lying.

Great work Mr. Mayor. God I wish you were still in charge up there.

Thanks to my cousin Tim for the link!
