A couple of years ago I finished William Manchester's three volume biography of Sir Winston Churchill, The Last Lion. While I was checking out some things on YouTube, stumped onto this. He was the last non royal family member to get a state funeral, until Lady Margaret Thatcher passed in 2013.
A great man passed one week to the day after I was born. But again, it's not how you're buried. It's how you're remembered. And Mr. Churchill is still remembered well.
RIP Sir Winston.
