And So it Goes in Shreveport: D-Day 2016: Remembering the Kelley Brothers

My friend Pat Austin posted on D-Day today and I commented on a commemoration from 32 years ago (damned I'm getting old). The University of New Orleans Eisenhower Center hosted an event honoring many of the vets of D-Day for the 40th Anniversary of the invasion. Please enjoy her comments on this event.

PS: I am getting old. This was actually the 40th Anniversary of the End of the War in Europe, May 1985.

    1. You're welcome. It's been a bit of a time for me also. I'm starting to revive this blog, catching up on my daily reading and posting an needed. I enjoy writing (although I need help for grammar NAZIs like Pat and my niece Thelma, as well as my wife Beth) and I'm happy you like this.

      Take care

      Mike
