I would say "I'm Shocked Shocked to find ther're gambling going on in here!" but why

I'm not sure which is more appropriate, that classic line from Casablanca or the opening of The Godfather II with Michael Corelone telling Nevada's senator "We're both part of the same hypocrisy..."
OK, Olbermann is IMHO a moron.  He can't make a cogent argument and illegitimately attacks people not on their records or opinion but on falsehoods.  But unlike the NBC news division he is honest about what he is.  He is a leftist commenter.

Now here is the real two face crap.

...The developments with Olbermann come on the heels of revelations that Fox News Channel, a conservative network which hosts various cable news shows in direct competition with Olbermann, made political contributions to political groups.

Fox News parent company News Corp. [NWS 16.33 -0.225 (-1.36%) ] attracted controversy in August after it donated about $1 million to the Republican Governors Association and another $1 million to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
OK...a large business donates to the Chamber of Commerce and that is controversial?  OK, what planet am I on?  I would say I'm shocked that NBC is not donating to the Chamber of Commerce but they don't have a practical business model...unlike NBC, CofC supports legitimate businesses that provide goods and services the American people want and need.  In NBC's mindset, business (other than the non-profit sector or legitimate media) is evil.

Again the iditocy is show and i wonder if an "objective Journolist" will ask the question and get an answer to "Why was Keith Overbite busted?"

Olbermann suspended for Dem contributions – CNN Political Ticker - CNN.com Blogs
MSNBC has suspended prime-time host Keith Olbermann indefinitely without pay for contributing to the campaigns of three Democratic candidates this election season...

...NBC News prohibits its employees from working on, or donating to, political campaigns unless a special exception is granted by the news division president—effectively a ban. Olbermann's bosses did not find out about the donations until after they were made. The website Politico first reported the donations.

"I became aware of Keith's political contributions late last night," Phil Griffin, MSNBC's chief executive, said Friday. "Mindful of NBC News policy and standards, I have suspended him indefinitely without pay."

...His "Countdown" show, which airs at 8 p.m. ET, is MSNBC's most popular program. His on-the-air transformation from the host of a straight news program to a liberal commentator led the network itself to go in the same direction, filling its prime-time lineup with left-leaning hosts and doing better in the ratings than anytime since its 1996 launch.
