Drug tanks

Again Janet, we got some secure borders out there...

This is scary. It's really not accurate to call it a tank. It's a uparmored vehicle to be a bit more technical But it will still take on a Tahoe or Expedition and win.

Take a look at this thing.

Mexican drug gangs create armored 'narco tanks' dubbed 'Los Monstruous' - the Monsters

A pair of homemade "narco tanks," the latest weapon in the Mexican drug gang wars, were discovered in a warehouse near the Texas border after a deadly gunfight, authorities said.

The "Mad Max"-styled vehicles were covered in one-inch thick steel plating, air-conditioned and sized to hold 20 armed combatants.

The tanks were discovered this past weekend following a shootout in the town of Ciudad Camargo between a Mexican army patrol and armed gunmen near the warehouse.

The soldiers killed two of the gunmen before finding the armored vehicles in the town inside the Tamaulipas state. Two other vehicles in the middle of the conversion process were also found near the border of Texas.

The Mexican media has dubbed the improvised armored vehicles "Los Monstruous" - the Monsters.

Military officials say the homemade tanks are built to withstand fire from .50-calibe

Here is an article on this discovery...

And to make it more sobering...it was found twenty miles for the border.

But we need comprehensive immigration reform...
