Thank God there was a cop and some good people here

Please let's neuter this human waste...
Man hurls toddler into traffic, cops say

A man who violently shook his toddler and then threw the girl in front of a moving car was arrested by an off-duty Oakland police officer who witnessed the incident and hailed a citizen's vehicle to help chase him down, police said Sunday.

The officer...was off-duty and on foot when he saw a man later identified as John Taylor Jr., 21, yelling in the middle of Fifth Avenue...

Taylor then picked up a toddler on the sidewalk, shook her violently and then hurled her into traffic, where she was run over by a vehicle, police said.
The 18-month-old girl was later determined to be the suspect's child, authorities said.

The off-duty officer helped remove the child from underneath the car. She suffered some burns from the engine but escaped major injury, police said.

Taylor fled on foot, and the officer then flagged down a passing motorist and jumped into the passenger seat, authorities said. They spotted the suspect confronting another motorist at Fifth Avenue and International Boulevard.

The off-duty officer confronted the suspect, who began attacking the officer, police said. As uniformed officers arrived, Taylor was still combative and was shot with a stun gun before he was subdued, authorities said.

The suspect was taken to a hospital for treatment of a head injury and was booked on suspicion of resisting arrest, battery on a police officer and child endangerment.

1. Thank God the girl wasn't killed.

2. Hopefully the father of the year (taking the title from Alec Baldwin) was severly arrested. He needs his ass kicked.
