The republic is doomed

I recently hosted a 17 year old daughter of a friend and she was admiring a gangster movie picture on the wall. It shows The Godfather, Goodfellas, Scarface and The Sopranos. She knew everyone. Then she turns and observes three wise men of Western Civilization. The fact she asked "Who are they?" put true fear in my body.


Who here doesn't know these great men?


How did it ever get this bad?


What a condemnation of the education system!


This may be a sign of the Apocalypse, one of the Four Horsemen.


Who among you does doesn't admire and revere these giants of Western Civilization...their names goes with Aristotle, Shakespeare, Mark Twain.

Tell me, am I wrong to be concerned? She thought Curley was Einstein with a bad haircut! :<)
