Back in the 60s, 70s, and 80s, a young band working it's asses off to have success in music, would take any location for publicity you could get. Good advise. And one of the great places to go was American Bandstand, hosted by Dick Clark. In 1986, they hosted The Bengals for two songs from their album Different Light. I still have that record. Enjoy.
